Tony Robinson joined Centrepoint Alliance in July 2009 as Managing Director/CEO. Tony has experience in a number of industries but has most recently been involved in the Financial Services Industry as Managing Director/CEO of IOOF Ltd for the period from 2007 to 2009 and prior to that as Managing Director/CEO of OAMPS Ltd for the period 2002 to 2007. Tony is also currently a Non-executive Director of Bendigo & Adelaide Bank Ltd.

 
Grahame Evans Grahame Evans

The Managing Director of Centrepoint Wealth Ltd, Grahame oversees a network of thousands of finance, accounting and insurance professionals across seven countries supplying training, tools and resources to help them remain competitive and deliver value added services to their clients.

Grahame has been extensively involved with the financial services industry for over 25 years and is a regular speaker at conferences both in Australia and overseas. He holds an MBA from the prestigious Australian Graduate School of Management, voted in the top 10 management schools in the Asian region.

Before joining Professional Investment Services he was CEO Investments for Tower Australia and Head of Corporate and Employee Benefits with AMP. At AMP he was responsible for Australia's largest company superannuation portfolio.

Prior to that as Managing Director AMP Consulting he was responsible for the superannuation consulting division of AMP including actuarial, trustee services, information technology, asset consulting and communications for clients such as Optus, BHP Billiton and Ansett to name a few.

At 32 Grahame was the youngest Australian ever to be appointed to the board of an Australian life insurance company.

Neil has held various roles in the Financial Planning industry over the last 23 years. His current role is as a lecturer at Deakin University in the Masters of Financial Planning course. He also has responsibility for some undergraduate course work related to Financial Planning. His particular interest of research is the way Financial Planning firms go about "corporatizing their business" .


Prior to moving to Deakin  he co-founded the AFSL firm Prime Time Financial Counsellors Pty Ltd where he was the General Manager. Neil's business experiences have encompassed other areas in the business world including Managing Aged Care Facilities and Nursing Homes. Neil has also run his own Private Psychology practice, been a Lecturer in Education and Psychology and in the early days taught in both the main stream, private and special education areas.


Neil has always been active in the community throughout his years in business and currently continues to act as a Justice of the Peace and Bail Justice. His main interests are family including his three children and 6 grandchildren, long distance bike riding, personal fitness and reading.

 
John Barry Smith John Barry Smith

From 1956, Barry spent twenty years developing new pharmacies. In 1981 he joined Robert Morrison & Associates, probably the first of the independent financial planning groups, opening the first of its offices on the Gold Coast. He was appointed Queensland State Manager within two years and further established four additional practices on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. Barry transferred from Advisor Investment Services to Professional Investment Services in 1997, spending the last six years in far north Queensland, servicing Ayr, Townsville and Bowen. Barry sold his financial planning practice in 2002, returning to the Gold Coast, where he has been providing part time consultancy services to Professional Investment Services.

 
Craig Hargraves Craig Hargraves

Craig Hargraves joined the financial industry in 1987. In that same year he established his own company, and since 1991 has been the Managing Director and Principal Financial Adviser of Poynter Hargraves Financial Consultants. Craig has successfully completed his Diploma in Financial Planning, is a Certified Financial Planner, and is also a member of Financial Planners Association.

Craig has three children and loves spending time with his family. He also enjoys a number of social and sporting activities including golf, tennis and water sports, as well as a love for travel.
