Associated Advisory Practices (AAP) currently provides the following back office services to licensees who have their own Australian Financial Services License.

Some of the services include:

Compliance

  • One full compliance audit per annum for the licensee and the authorised representatives.
  • A complete compliance manual and the provision of updates as required due to changes in legislation.
  • Compliance training via our Professional Development days (PD) which are held five times per year. Additionally, there is specific compliance training days held throughout the year, as well as compliance training at our AAP National Conference.
  • Access for you and your representatives to online documentation, including SOA’s, SOAA’s, ROA's, the most current information on changes to legislation, updates on ASIC policy statements and guidelines via the AAP website, and by email.
  • After each audit, a complete report.

Professional Development Days

These full day educational sessions are conducted five times per annum in all states, and are streamed for investment and risk. In addition to the Professional Development Days, AAP hold regular boardroom training sessions on specific topics.

BDM Support/Marketing

The business development team structure includes business development managers, business support officers and administration staff. The teams help licensees and their advisers effectively market and promote their financial planning business to their clients, provide assistance with the preparation of business/marketing plans and work together to help achieve business goals.

Practice Integration Programs

Practice Integration Programs are specifically designed to promote education and lead referrals inside accountancy practices. This service is driven by our business development team.

Client Seminar/Activity Facilitation

We have an extensive background in the facilitation of seminars, client education programs and other client based activities. In addition, we offer access to our extensive seminar topic library and the assistance of our business support officers to help you manage the process.

Paraplanning/Technical Support

A paraplanning and technical support team is based at our head office to provide services to new and experienced consultants. These services are provided via phone and email by an expert team with extensive practical experience.

Technical Newsletters

Technical newsletters written by one of Australia’s leading Superannuation experts, Peter Kelly, are emailed to group members as industry and legislative changes occur. They can also be found on the AAP website.

Newsletters

Client based newsletters designed to increase client knowledge and as a tool to increase adviser-client contact are released quarterly in soft and hard copies. The generic AAP designed newsletters can be customised to suit a licensee‘s logo and colour scheme.

Commissions software

We have developed sophisticated commission software that assists a licensee in the running of their practice, and for the processing of all revenue through its licence. This software can be made available to a dealer group for a monthly fee.

HR Support

Our HR department can assist licensees with templates for performance plans, performance reviews, general HR documentation and general inquiries.

Conferences

Conferences are educational and include training in the latest tax planning strategies, compliance and case studies on various financial planning situations. We encourage licensees and their representatives to also invite their associated accountants, lawyers and support staff and any other centres of influence along to the conferences.
